Take Part

Off the Scales is not only about my story, it’s about yours too.

So far we’ve held interviews with over 20 people and each of these stories have inspired the initial development of the show.

As part of our second stage of development, we want to continue to connect with others who have something to say about weight loss culture. Maybe you’ve participated in a weight loss group like Weight Watchers or Slimming World? Perhaps you've spent most of your life on some sort of diet? Maybe you’re a keen exercise enthusiast with the aim of maintaining your current weight?

You can take part by joining writing or performance-based workshops; focus groups where we discuss our ideas and gather ask for your feedback from participants; work-in-progress performances where we gather feedback and stories from participants. If you’d like to get involved, fill in the form below and we’ll get back to you.

Equality and Diversity

We value representation and strive to promote equality and diversity at all levels. We welcome and actively seek stories from those currently underrepresented in the arts community; particularly Black people, people of colour, and disabled people (as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
